A Christmas Road Trip to Houston

Christmas day we took a drive to Houston to meet up with the Swedes on their way to Roatan, Honduras. A lovely sunset and memorable time with friends was had by all.

The most beautiful sunset was trailing behind us!

There is a cemetery to the right. I made Matt stop to capture a still.

Doesn't he look good?!?

Here are the Swedes, jet-lagged, tired, and in full spirits.

Funny MK! Friends about to day of exhaustion. Good times nonetheless.

And then... home sweet home.
Another beautiful Christmas. I hope everyone had a peaceful day!

Christmas is here and gone...

I am taking this time to thank the people I love: the family, for the unconditional love and support. This is the third year we had the pajama tradition: two lovely days of relaxation, playing games, and eating way too much food! I am lucky to have these memories. Cheers and love. Tomorrow Yoga!

My best photographing subject...

My turn to snap away. Sharon enjoying the day.

Its not Christmas without booze!

Walt with his handmade instrument. (The bottom part is a home depot bucket.)

Singing in the Rain!

The christmas tree this year was miniature with an enormous sound. It played Jingle bells over, and over, and over...

Its like Christmas morning! Wait, it is Christmas morning. The child within is released in all of us.

Walts gifts were a great hit.

Stocking stuffer: Parachute army men.

She is so not happy
Ho Ho Ho!

Winter in NYC

It's things like this that make me want to live in NYC. How festive and beautiful is the window display at the Fendi store? Fa la la la la....

Weekend Bliss: Sunset, Flowers, Buddha & Camera

I don't think I am supposed to photograph the Buddha... But he was glistening in the light.

Weekend Bliss: Sunday Morning

I recently discovered Hilah Cooking. Her blog speaks to the not so savvy cooker (like myself) inspiring us to make deliciously simple dishes. She's witty, funny, and a delightful drinker! I learned how to make Migas this weekend... Thank you Hilah for making my husband's belly happy and for enticing me to cook.  My Sunday morning was yummy, sunny and the dogs loved the smell. My next lesson will be making Vegan CHili.
