International Surf Day 2011: Austin Style

Surfing was celebrated around the world, and Austin Texas was not left behind in the festivities. The Surfrider Foundation Central Texas Chapter hosted a Town Lake cleanup near Barton Springs pool, Sunday June 19th. Surfers and life enthusiasts gathered their kayaks, surfboards, trash bags, and clamps to help keep Austin's bodies of water beautiful. The hundred degree weather did not stop anyone from enjoying time outdoors and eating delicious grub, courtesy of Wahoo's.
